Set Time to Day

Set Time to Day

Change the in-game time to daytime. Run: `/time set day`. Sets the in-game time to daytime (1000 ticks). Named aliases work in both editions: day (1000), noon (6000), night (13000), midnight (18000). You can also use raw tick values directly: /time set 0 for dawn, /time set 6000 for noon. To freeze time permanently after setting it, run /gamerule doDaylightCycle false. Works on Java 26.2 and Bedrock 26.32. Last verified June 2026.
