- How do I summon a Donkey in Minecraft?
- Enable cheats or use OP, open chat with T or /, paste /summon minecraft:donkey ~ ~ ~ (Java) or /summon donkey ~ ~ ~ (Bedrock), and press Enter. The Donkey spawns at your feet.
- Does the summon Donkey command work on Bedrock Edition?
- Yes — use /summon donkey ~ ~ ~. Bedrock uses the same entity IDs without the "minecraft:" prefix and does not support NBT arguments like custom names in the summon command.
- Why does my summoned Donkey despawn?
- Mobs despawn when no players are nearby. On Java Edition, add {PersistenceRequired:1b} to the summon command to prevent it. On Bedrock, use a name tag on the mob after summoning.
