Place a Structure (/place)

Place a Structure (/place)

Generate a village, ancient city, or any structure at your location. Run: /place structure minecraft:ancient_city. Generates a full vanilla structure — ancient city, village, bastion, stronghold, and more — starting at your position. Structures generate below/around you exactly as world generation would build them. Try minecraft:village_plains, minecraft:bastion_remnant, or minecraft:end_city. Warning: big structures permanently overwrite the terrain they occupy. Works on Java Edition 26.2. Last verified June 2026.
